WE ARE IN THIS WORLD FOR A REASON; MINE IS TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE
Oct 8, 2012
Author: Bobby Martin

Those are the words of Pittsburgh Pirates Manager Clint Hurdle. His appearance in Beaver Falls is confirmed. The event is the All In Men's Night at Chippewa Evangelical Free Church on Thursday night, November the 8th. Here's the lowdown. You can register in advance or call CSI direct. (contact info below) Sign in is at 6pm. Clint will join us for dinner at 6:30pm. You can even have dinner with Clint! There will be door prizes and a good time together. The program begins at 7:30pm. Dinner and Program is just $20. If you wish, you can attend the program only for $10.

Clint Hurdle was named the manager of the Pirates in November of 2010. The 2012 season marked his 38th year in professional baseball. He played parts of ten seasons in the Majors with the Royals, Mets, and Cardinals. He served in the Colorado organization for more than 15 years, starting as a minor league hitting coordinator. He worked all the way up to major league manager and led the Rockies to the World Series in 2007, as the club captured its first National League pennant in franchise history.

This is a great opportunity to meet and hear a cool guy who follows Christ, believes and proclaims the teachings of the Bible, and has achieved great success at home and in his career. All men ages 13 and up are cordially invited.

You can find registration info at www.teamcsi.org, or call CSI at 724.453.1400. You can get more info here or at info@teamcsi.org.

The above contacts will also work for the All In Men's night at Chippewa UMC on October 18th. I'll be hosting the evening for 4-time Super Bowl Champion with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Jon Kolb. Jon is an Oklahoma State University graduate with a Bachelors of Science in Education and Master of Science, Exercise Science from Slippery Rock University. In 1992 after playing and coaching with the Steelers since 1969 Jon decided not to pursue another coaching position that would pull him away from his wife Debra and three sons. A decision Jon says, "everyone faces and when you make a Christ centered decision you must go all out for God."
