BIG WEEK TO BE A ROCK AND NOT TO ROLL

I hope you had a great Fourth of July Celebration. The fireworks will go on the rest of the week here.
How about this for back to back nights? On Thursday, July 8, The Martin Brothers' Power Machine with hot young drummer Scott Hobin takes the
stage at Mac's Bad Art Bar in Mattydale (Syracuse) NY. This will serve as a preliminary to the band's appearance at the Summer of '69 reunion event at
the Jug in Youngstown NY on Saturday, July 18th. Then, the very next night, Friday, July 9th, the newly updated and modified Rush Willys takes the stage
at Pittsburgh Pro Mods at Pittsburgh Raceway Park in New Alexandria. You might be wondering why we're posting this announcement now, just a couple
days from the events. Well, I just received confirmation of these myself. How's that for Rock & Roll?
Spike Sterling's Rush Willys will appear at Pittsburgh with a new, even meaner, look. The first thing you'll notice is the huge rear wing. Some
major changes were made to the car to correct the problems that manifested themselves so dramatically at Thompson last month. We have not run the car
yet with the new configuration, so the first qualifying session at 6:30 pm will be a big one for all of us. So it's Let's Rock on Thursday, and Let's
Roll on Friday (the good way!). Extra credit for anyone besides me who attends both events. Mac's Bad Art Bar is at 1799 Brewerton Road, Syracuse,
NY (315.455.7223, that's 455-RACE!!)
Historic Pittsburgh Raceway Park is at 538 Stone Jug Road, New Alexandria PA (Route 22 East) 15670. 724.668.7600.
